i have to admit it's quite difficult to draw such a beautiful face. I just paid a lot of attention and drew it little by little.
If you can't get it right, try drawing with a grid, that's all advice i can give you....if you have a specific question you can asked.

well as you can read
it's long, but i needed the time for all the shading and the black background. there were at least 3 Layers to get it that dark.
i think in this drawing (outlines first) i started with the eyes, and worked my way down along with light shading. than i did the background and the hair togehter, for better blending. after the black background was on the paper i realised the shading was to light and darkend it by putting on one or two more layers.
So i guess, details first, shading in the progress, background and shading again. see???....messy!
